Apply for a Scholarship
The Florida Legion Post 271 of Palm Beach County will award up to X, $XXX scholarships each year. Applications must be received by the American Legion no later than April 1st each year, recipients will be notified by May 1st.

The Requirements to apply are as follows:

The Parent or Grandparent must be a current paid member of Post 271

Scholarship must be used for any post-secondary education

Application includes a 500 word essay about the military service of the veteran sponsoring the applicant and includes what their service means to them

Applicant must have a 2.0 GPA during their first semester of post-secondary education

Applicant will have 60 days to submit their grades after first semester
